Origin:
Bred by Paul and Son (United Kingdom, 1862).
Introduced in Australia by Thomas Lang in 1866 as 'Lord Clyde'.

Bloom:
Crimson - scarlet, purple shading.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 4a through 5b.
