'Dr. Jo' rose Description
Apricot or apricot blend Floribunda.Registration name: FRYatlanta
Apricot, peach shading. Strong fragrance. Double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Bushy. Dark green foliage.
Height of up to 30" (up to 75 cm).
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Fryer's Roses says Dr. Jo has fragrant, peachy apricot blooms that are large for a Floribunda and beautifully formed. The plant is neat and bushy with attractive dark green foliage. This rose is named for Dr. Jo Taylor, head of the renal unit at the Dorchester Hospital. Dr. Jo will benefit the Dorset Kidney Fund Support Group.
