Bred by Soupert & Notting (Luxembourg, 1895).
Introduced in Australia by Brundrett's The Rose People in 1904 as 'Auguste Comte'.

Bloom:
Deep pink, carmine-pink reverse, lighter center, yellow undertones.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
