Bred by Alphonse Alégatière (France, 1884).
Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in before 1907 as 'Miniature'.

Polyantha.  
Bloom:
White, pink undertones, ages to cream .  Moderate fragrance.  Small, very double, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, dense, few or no prickles/thorns.  Glossy foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 8" to 1' (20 to 30cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
