English Miss ('Dearest' x 'Sweet Repose'). This vigorous floribunda, by Cants of Colchester, makes a splendid bush and I found the strongly scented, pale blush pink flowers most attractive. Professional growers have assessed this rose very highly and I considered it unlucky not to achieve a sufficiently high average marking to win the Henry Edland Medal for fragrance but this award was withheld this year. Trial Ground Certificate
