Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. in 1935 as 'Alezane'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1936 as 'Alezane'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Tan, yellow veining, ages to apricot .  Moderate, fruity fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Glossy, bronze-green foliage.  

Height: 30" to 3' (75 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Very vigorous.
