Unique, sweet fragrance, but bad growth in my case.

I bought this rose based on it being from Kordes and not at all knowing it was classified a hybrid tea. I'm not a fan of hybrid teas at all, as they don't last long grown in an organic garden. Well, this one surprised me by having a more David Austin look to the blooms. It is fragrant and it only gets a touch of disease when stressed by drought, yet still shows incredible vigor. Oh yes, and I planted the darn thing where it only gets a few hours of morning sun and it's still doing great. So I guess out of over 100 rose varieties I grow I now can say something good about at least one hybrid tea. Every jaded person like me that has written off hybrid teas may want to give this rose a try, it is beautiful and worth it.
