Origin:
Bred by Soupert & Notting (Luxembourg, 1887).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Archiduchesse Marie Immaculata'.
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
Red, salmon-pink shading, vermilion center.  Brick-red..  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Notes:
Pierre Guillot states that 'Archiduchesse Maria Immaculata' is a descendant of 'Adam'. - see References.
