Introduced in United Kingdom by Fryer's Roses/Fryer's Nurseries Ltd. in 1968 as 'Fred Loads'.

Bloom:
Orange or orange-red.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3.25".  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing, upright.  
Height of 5' to 10' (150 to 305 cm).  Width of 3' to 4' (90 to 120 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.  vigorous.  can be grown as a shrub.  can be trained as a climber.  shade tolerant.  
Notes:
In different climates and countries, this rose is variously classified as a floribunda, a climbing floribunda and a shrub. See References. In a cold climate at the extreme of its range, it grows as an upright floribunda. In a mild climate, at the other extreme of its range, it can be grown as a climber.
