Bred by Joseph Schwartz (France, 1882).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Marguerite de Roman'.

Bloom:
Blush, light pink center.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Light green foliage.  

Height: up to 5' (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Vigorous.
