Bred by Peter Lambert (Germany, before 1901). Introduced in Germany by Peter Lambert in 1903 as 'Freiherr von Marschall'. Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1909 as 'Freiherr von Marschall'.
Bloom:
Carmine-red. Moderate fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Dense, upright.
Height: 39" to 4' (100 to 120cm). Width: 31" to 3' (80 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.
