Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, 1890).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1897 as 'Gustave Régis'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, darker center.  Moderate fragrance.  14 petals.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
