Origin:
Bred by Eugene S. Boerner (United States, 1961).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. in 1961 as 'Tommy Bright'.
Class:
Floribunda, Florists Rose.  
Bloom:
Scarlet.  Moderate fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Very vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
