Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Hon. Edith Gifford'.

Bloom:
White, salmon-pink center, light yellow undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Well-branched.  Dark green foliage.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
