Bred by Pedro (Pere) Dot (Spain, before 1932).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1932 as 'Golden Moss'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1935 as 'Golden Moss'.
Class:
Moss, Moss - Modern.  
Bloom:
Yellow, darker shading.  Bud globular, peachy yellow, sepals well mossed.  Moderate fragrance.  37 petals.  Average diameter 3.25".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Sparse, once-blooming spring or summer.  Mossed, rounded buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Wrinkled (rugose) foliage.  

Height: 4' to 8' (120 to 245cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Vigorous.  
Notes:
The first yellow Moss.
