Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.
Crimson. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 2.75". Medium, full (26-40 petals), in large clusters, high-centered, rounded bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Bushy, climbing, upright. Large, glossy, dark green foliage.
Height of 6' 7" to 9' 10" (200 to 300 cm).
USDA zone 4b through 9b. Can be used for pillar. Hardy. vigorous.
The rose in gardens and commerce is not the original, except probably the rose at the Arboretum Boraova Hora in Slovakia. - see references.
