How hard do you prune this rose?

Mine are open vase-shaped shrubs about 4.5 ft tall and wide. I'm in Zone 9b, and they grew to this height in a single season after being pruned to about 30 inches. I don't need to reduce size for space constraints, but I don't want to overwhelm the plant's ability to support growth at the expense of bloom, either. It bloomed beautifully this year.

I bought this rose on sale last fall...it's going to be a great rose...it slid through the winter with no cane dieback,I'm in zone 5b...about 50 miles to the 6a boarder...it's rarely out of bloom and if you take off the center bud on the sprays they seem to bloom better..I love the color and the fragrance..I think this is going to be rated as one of my top roses..:-) not for a vase

Prolific Bloomer. Blooms only last a few days on tree, or one day cut.
