Bred by Charles Turner (United Kingdom, 1878).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'Harrison Weir'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Scarlet - crimson.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
