Exhibition name: Innocence
Bred by Chaplin Bros., Ltd (United Kingdom, 1921).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1923 as 'Innocence'.
Hybrid Tea.  
White, golden-yellow stamens.  Strong fragrance.  12 petals.  Large, single to semi-double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, ruffled bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Armed with thorns / prickles.  
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Nigel Pratt of Tasman Bay Roses says the flowers are almost single, large and white...
