Notes:
Ludwigs Roses says this rose bears a very strong resemblance to 'Peace' which is not surprising as Soleil d' Or' is the ancestor to both and in addition 'Peace' is one of the grandparents of 'Isidingo'. ''Isidingo' is Ludwig's selection as a rose to be planted in memory of the terrible happenings in New York. The name 'Isidingo' - The Need - is fitting. The need for Peace, for tolerance amongst people of all races, colours and religions, and the need for the needy to be uplifted.
