'Cerise Bouquet' rose Description

Climber, Hybrid Multibracteata, Shrub.
Cherry-red. Mild fragrance. up to 25 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Small, semi-double to double, flat bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Arching, climbing. Small foliage.
Height: 9'10" to 12' (300 to 365cm). Width: 6' to 12' (185 to 365cm).
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for garden or pillar. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Do not dead head. Do not prune. This rose blooms on old wood.
Bred by Mathias Tantau in 1937 and given as a gift to Wilhelm Kordes, commercialized by Kordes & Sons only in 1958.
