Bred by Ralph S. Moore (United States, 1987).
Introduced in United States by Sequoia Nursery, Moore Miniature Roses Historic Archive in 2005 as 'Moore's Striped Rugosa'.

Class:
Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
Red, white stripes, red reverse.  Moderate, clove, sweet fragrance.  25 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, classic hybrid tea bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, well-branched.  

Height: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).  Width: up to 4' (up to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.  Can be used for cut flower, garden, hedge, landscape or shrub.  Very hardy.  very vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Do not spray.  Prune dead wood.  Prune lightly or not at all.  
Breeder's notes:
This is the first striped rugosa hybrid!! Excellent vigor and very quick to develop into a mature shrub that is always full and bushy. With its rugosa parentage, it will be hardy to at least USDA Zone 5.
