Has anyone experienced this rose throwing out long, floppy canes? My climate is exactly like the Huntington Library and Gardens and it does not look like that there, although I'm aware that other Austins do that in hot climates. I'm wondering if mine is mislabelled. Thank you!

This rose was very slow to break dormancy in its first year. Did well when it finally did.
