Origin:
Bred by Mike Shoup (United States, 2006).
Introduced in United States by Antique Rose Emporium (Brenham, Texas) in 1998 as 'Pioneer Spirit'.
Class:
Climber, Large-Flowered Climber.  Pioneer.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Moderate fragrance.  41 petals.  Average diameter 3.25".  Large, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, old-fashioned bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing.  Large, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  
Height of 6' to 8' (185 to 245 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b.  Can be used for garden or pillar.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Prune lightly until this rose gets established (about two years), then prune it back by about a third..  Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.
