Planted in 2014, Lyda Rose is a large elegant shrub that blooms almost continuously in my 9b garden. It can be pruned severely but bounces back to 6-7 ft wide, 5 ft high. Blooms late into fall with fragrant blooms that readily attract bees.

Oslo, July 2020. The best rose I have, without a doubt. Always in bloom, strong and wonderful fragrance, loved by pollinators, long-lasting flowers, squeaky clean leaves and beautiful sprays of red hips in winter. Flowers withstand rain and drop off cleanly. Easy to combine with perennials due to its open habit.
