Whatever appropriate name you choose to call this rose in your garden-Chandos Beauty, Harmisty, Sweet Love, it is a gorgeous rose. This is what growing roses is all about in my opinion. The bush in my garden is strong and vigorous and disease resistant. The flowers are numerous and large and so beautiful that nothing compares to them of all the 450 roses I grow. The outer petals are a creamy white and the inner petals are a translucent peachy pink color that lasts for the life of the bloom. The fragrance is strong and can be found at any time of day and in any temperature Mother Nature decides to throw out at us. Also, rain, wind, cold, heat, etc...seem to have little to no affect on the bloom production on my plant which was only in its' second year in 2010. I can't wait to see how it grows in 2011 when it has a bit more maturity on the plant. If you want a real rose for your garden, this is the one to get for it.

Thank you for your recommendation of Chandos Beauty, Niels in Denmark also recommended it. The color is similar to Mary Magdalene in COOL TEMP, the apricot glow is very pretty.

John, you said everything I would say about this rose. Mine is a second-year own-root rose and already large enough to produce quite a few huge, beautiful blooms! I can hardly wait to see what it does next year.

This rose will lose leaves to blackspot, and heat distress, but can take a fair amount of duress before these show up. It needs to be sprayed.
