Origin:
Bred by Kenneth J. "Ken" Nobbs (New Zealand, 1984).
Introduced by Unknown (New Zealand) in 1995 as 'Irene Jane'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Violet and pink.  Purple pink.  up to 18 petals.  Average diameter 1.25".  Semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Thornless (or almost).  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
