One of the first hybrid giganteas to show perfect exhibition Hybrid Tea form
Still with our nostalgia for the Manipur area of north east India, where we discovered R.gigantea in 1990 – we haven’t returned to the area since, the political climate being rather disturbed – we named our first beautifully shaped Hybrid Tea formed pink gigantea seedling for the lovely girls of the Naga tribe , who live in this region. They are charmingly different and distinctive, so we decided on the name ‘Naga Belle’ as a tribute to their beauty.
‘Naga Belle’ is a large leaved shrub, with the flowers held erect, sometimes singly and sometime in bunches of 3 or 5, all very well shaped, and long lasting.
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
