Yellow blend Hybrid Musk. Registration name: ARDjeriExhibition name: Jeri Jennings
Bloom:
Golden-yellow. Golden Yellow, Blooms pale as they mature, for a mix of shades in a spray.. Strong, musk, sweet fragrance. Average diameter 1.75". Small to medium, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, globular, old-fashioned, reflexed bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Small buds.
Habit:
Medium, arching, bushy. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.
Height: 4' to 7' (120 to 215cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for container rose, landscape, shrub or specimen. Vigorous. can be grown as a shrub. flowers drop off cleanly. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, very mildew resistant, very rust resistant. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.
Breeder's notes:
This rose is very much in keeping with the Hybrid Musk style and has a lovely scent.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The color changes as each bloom opens and matures, to give a multicolor effect, something like Black Hills Gold. After a year or so, I can also observe that this rose is impervious to powdery mildew and rust, and that the fragrance is outstanding. The habit is pleasingly arching and graceful.
