Origin:
Bred by James A. Sproul (United States, 2007).

Pink and white, pink edges.  Creamy white with darker pink edging. Color is more intense in cooler weather..  None to mild fragrance.  Average diameter 1.5".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, classic hybrid tea bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Short, compact.  Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.

Height: 16" to 20" (40 to 50cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Breeder's notes:
‘Pearl Sanford’ the rose was named in honor of Pearl Sanford the Lady by her loving family. Photo of Pearl Sanford is included with her rose photos. Rose breeders may enjoy using this rose in their breeding programs because it easily sets hips, seeds germinate well and it is very pliable with the genetics of the selected pollen parent.
