Origin:
Bred by Edward Burton Le Grice (1902-1977) (United Kingdom, 1958).
Introduced in Australia by Brundrett's The Rose People in 1960 as 'My Choice'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Pink, light yellow reverse.  Strong, damask fragrance.  33 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Leathery foliage.  

Height: up to 30" (up to 75cm).  Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , susceptible to Mildew.  Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. .  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
