Purchased this rose Spring 2011. This is a standout in my garden. Rebloom is great and the bush itself is very lush and holds its foliage well. No disease problems. I have it planted in a large decorative pot and it seems to benefit from the shade. Temps. have been in the 100's and it is still growing like a champ with no defoliation and continued bloom production. Tom Carruth has hit a homerun with this one.

Zero mildew on this one here in mildew heaven. And it always has at least a bloom or two. But very short stems and it does not last as a cut flower. So it's for BRIGHT garden color only.

This rose was the biggest suprise in my garden in 2008.
I planted 5 shockwave in a row leading to the entry of the house.
It was admired by me and my friends through the summer and fall.
Always covered with flowers. The yellow was very beautiful. It was
fading a little bit, but still giving a beautiful color. It reminds me Julia Child.
I will keep this rose.

The seedling portion of the lineage is probably John-John due to the codename, but this isnt a static fact.
