Crimson, ages to copper .   (Devenant cuivré mordoré et nuance chamois au vieillissent).  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 3.5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), flat bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Large, light green foliage.  5 leaflets.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  Width: up to 47" (up to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
