'Paul Transon' Rosa luciæ X L'Idéal Obtenu par Barbier en 1900. Haut. 5 m - Fleurs 6,5 cm. Il est presque réellement remontant. Les boutons orangé cuivré dévoilent, en s'ouvrant, des crolles saumon nuancées de corail qui se faneront en saumon avec des traînées jaunes au centre. Semi-doubles à doubles, les fleurs sont plates avec les pétales repliés. À cette floribundité, à ces nuances délicates, se joint l'attrait de l'odeur des pommes vertes.

The Barbier firm produced 'Albéric Barbier', 'Paul Transon', 'René André', 'Léontine Gervais', 'François Juranville', 'Alexandre Girault', and 'Auguste Gervais', in that order from 1900 to 1908, and the species used was R. luciae, which is sometimes considered a form of R. wichuraiana, or vice versa.
