Climber, Hybrid Tea, Cl., Large-Flowered Climber.
Yellow - white, lemon-yellow undertones. Strong, lemon fragrance. Average diameter 5". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Height of 8' to 20' (245 to 610 cm). Width of 10' (305 cm).
USDA zone 5a through 9b. Very vigorous.
'Mrs. John Whicher' (1928) was established to be identical to 'Paul's Lemon Pillar' and withdrawn.
