Introduced in Japan by Yokohama Nursery Co., Ltd. in 1927 as 'Hana Daijin'.

Purple.  None / no fragrance.  Very large, semi-double to double bloom form.  Early-to-mid.  
Habit:
Height of 47" to 4' 11" (120 to 150 cm).
