Introduced in Germany by BKN Strobel GmbH & Co. KG in 1991.
Introduced in United States by Star Roses & Plants (Pennsylvania) in 2005 as 'Polarsonne'.
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Moderate fragrance.  15 to 20 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy.  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, garden or landscape.  Very hardy.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
