Introduced in United States by Charles Klehm and Son Nursery in 1976 as 'Cheddar Gold'.

White, light yellow center.  Moderate fragrance.  Japanese (anemone, imperial) bloom form.  Midseason.

My new variety of peony plant is a seedling of Charlies White (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 3,684) .times. Bowl of Cream (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 2,451)
