Bloom:
Violet and blue, silver(y) shading.  6 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 10".  Single, notched, overlapping bloom form.  Late spring to early summer, late summer.  
Habit:

Height: 7' to 8' (215 to 245cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  sheltered.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
