Home Depots in the Dallas, Texas area had a lot of this rose this year, right around... I think it might have been Veteran's Day? They all had little flags on them saying, "Support Our Troops!" In fact, the one closest to my house still has two as of today (1/3).

I bought my Remember Me from Heirloom a couple of years ago and it was just a tiny little own root band rose. I immediately transplanted it to a larger2-gal container and let it grow the rest of the year in it and overwintered it in the unheated garage. It responded quite well last year and broke dormancy well and started growing and blooming immediately. I transplanted it to a 5-gal container this past growing season and again am overwintering in pot in my garage. I just felt it was a bit too small to leave out in the cold of winter this year. If all goes well and it puts on some more size this year I will definitely try to find it a good easily protected spot in the garden and watch it grow and bloom. The flowers I have seen off this bush so far have been small and could use more petals, but the color is outstanding and the form is very good. The flowers have a light fresh scent to them. I am hoping and believe that this will really start growing up in this, it's third year in the garden. I am looking forward to it with great anticipation. That is why I have been careful and slow moving with it so far. I want it to be really ready to spread its wings this year.

This rose is quite bushy, lots of canes and quite thick. It blooms constantly. The only negative is that it seems to be the "aphid magnet" in my garden. The lady bugs have a field day on it.

Thank you for posting this comment. I have changed the rose page for 'Remember Me' to show that it has a bushy plant habit and re-blooms very well.

This is a lovely rose bush. The foliage is thick and full and is not at all "leggy". The flowers are lovely and change colors as the bloom matures. It is compact and has lovely glossy leaves.
