Origin:
Bred by Ralph S. Moore (United States, 1977).
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1981 as 'Rise 'n' Shine'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  Strong, rose, tea fragrance.  25 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, in large clusters bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, rounded, upright, well-branched.  Small, semi-glossy, medium green, dense foliage.  
Height of 16" to 20" (40 to 50 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 11.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Hardy.  vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).  Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit.
