Origin:

Discovered by Louis Lens (1924-2001) (Belgium, 1982).

Class:

Hybrid Arvensis, Species / Wild.

Bloom:

White, yellow stamens. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 0.75". Small, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, flat bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Habit:

Arching, climbing. Dark green foliage.

Height: 13'1" to 16'5" (400 to 500cm). Width: up to 6'7" (up to 200cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 7a through 9b.

Notes:

Found in 1982 in the wild by Louis Lens of Belgium. He introduced it in his nursery which still sells it now. Possibly a hybrid between R. arvensis and a dwarf china.
