Light pink Hybrid Perpetual. Registration name: Baroness Rothschild
Bloom:
Light pink. None to mild, opinions vary fragrance. 40 petals. Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped, globular bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright. Height of 4' to 6' (120 to 185 cm). Width of 3' (90 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer. Prune after flowering is finished.
Notes:
The Old Rose Advisor says this rose is one of the parents of 'Carmen Sylva'. Please note that there are three different Baron/Baronne A. de Rothschild: purple from Lacharme, crimson from Guillot and pale pink from Pernet - see.
