Bred by André Delbard-Chabert (1915-2012) (France, before 1960).
Introduced in France by Delbard/Georges Delbard SA in 1961 as 'Saint-Exupery'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Mauve, silver(y) shading.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  

Height: up to 43" (up to 110cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower, exhibition or garden.  Vigorous.  Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. .  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..
