Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers (1940-2007) (Germany, 1989).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 1989 as 'Saphir'.

Bloom:

Orange-pink. Mild fragrance. 30 petals. Average diameter 4". Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
