Origin:
Bred by Ralph S. Moore (United States, 1965).
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1969 as 'Beauty Secret'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Red.  Strong, fruity, opinions vary fragrance.  Average diameter 1.5".  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy.  Small, glossy, leathery foliage.  

Height: 14" to 2' (35 to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).

Notes:
Justice Miniature Roses says this rose is one of America's oldest and best known miniatures. The tihtly quilled, scarlet red petals are long and pointed. The showy form and excellent resistance long ago assured it a place in history. She still wins on the bench after 34 years...
