Bred by Unknown Chinese Breeder(s) (China, before 1794).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Charles Francis Greville in 1794 as 'Rosea'.

Class:

Hybrid suffruticosa.

Bloom:

Rose-pink or light pink, lilac shading. Strong fragrance. Very large, semi-double to double, flat bloom form. Early.

Habit:

Height: up to 6'7" (up to 200cm).
