I have a rose that looks like the one Sylvie sent in............Could she please tell me if it has 7 roses on each stem? I am one of seven sisters and my Daddy acquired it a long time before his death.

How do you transplant a "Seven Sisters" rose? We found some on our land and would like to possibly move it closer to our house. Thank you for the help.

There are no special tricks. Cut the branches back to about 8 inches tall, and dig it up. I've found it likes locations with full sun and needs to be well-drained.

I have a 50-year old plant. The branches that don't produce flowers grow to about 15 feet high. Am I supposed to trim these off? The branches that do produce flowers only get to be about 3 feet high.

Ramblers really benefit from an occaisional hard pruning back. This rose produces a lot of canes and it would help the plants vigour if next spring you cut about half of those tall canes right back. Then the following spring cut the rest of the tall canes back. Cutting them all at once could cause stress in the rose.
