Notes:
The Japanese peony, 'Magome-Shiro' has also been treated as a synonym of 'Crystal Queen', which seems to be a similar, but distinct, variety from 'Snow Wheel'. Both were originally described as pure white, but by 1926, 'Snow Wheel' was described as having a yellow center.
