Origin:
Bred by Institut royal horticole de Fromont (France, before 1829).
Class:
China / Bengale.  
Bloom:
Deep pink to light purple, red reverse, veining.  30 to 60 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Short, few or no prickles/thorns.  3 to 5 leaflets.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
